why were they banned?
Think theyāve been a bit lively in the past and been shut out as a result.
East Anglian derby day has arrived, and everything points towards that lot down the (40 mile) road getting their first derby win in 14 years. Never have I wanted to watch a Norwich game lessā¦
I was at the Eintracht game on Thursday night. UEFA banned them after theyād bought their flights and accommodation. There was thousands of them in the city and I was chatting to a few outside the game who had tickets but were turned away. The police were checking everyoneās accents and they hadnāt quite mastered the doric lingo. Guys I spoke to seemed sound enough but thev have a bit of a reputation for playing up in Europe.
They kicked off in Naples in March. Torched a police car and other such japes.
Iām still disappointed that when in Prague none of he sport shops had a Dukla Prague away ( or home ) kit for sale
Itās all I want for Christmas
Well Iāll take that! Great result considering how poor weāve been all season, particularly defensively, and how good Ipswich have been in all areas. Bless them, theyāll get their win one dayā¦
Iām on the lookout for a proper transformer
Decent result that as it was for Cov at Leeds too. Yours sounded like a good game. Best of luck for the season.
Yep, a decent result for you as well, and best of luck to you too. Have always felt Coventry are a similar club to us in many ways. Whatās the consensus on Robins around your way? Really hoped weād try get him in when we parted ways with Dean Smith.
We won 8-0 yesterday.
Wasnt a bad game
Yep feel the same about Norwich, similar clubs in many ways. Robins is held in very high regard by the overwhelming majority of us. Itās been said many times but the the hurdles heās overcome together with his assistant Adi Viveash to not only stabilise the club but move them forward has been immense. Heās been with us (for the second time) since 2017 just prior to our relegation to League 2/Division 4.
There were a few grumbles at the start of the season (the standard why the fuck arenāt we winning every game/itās about time he left) from some clueless fans on forums etc, classic modern day attitude. The hangover of not going up and losing Gyokores and Hamer had an impact.
Iām surprised, and pleased that no one has really tried to make a move for him in a serious way. Perhaps if he wore suits or a nice gilet thatād get him on the radar. Stay in the tracksuit MR!
I used to go loads and am only 20 odd miles from Leeds but not so much nowadays with family commitments and ££££, Leeds were charging 45 quid a ticket yesterday. Unbelievable.
Do you get to Carrow Road much still?
Losing Hamer and Gyokores was definitely a big blow for you, two of the best players I saw in the Championship last season. Hope MR can get you firing again and moving up the table.
I get down to the Carra fairly often, although no longer have a season ticket - I gave it up after last season due to other commitments and a need to save money. The dire football that I had to endure for most of last season made it an easier decision. Luckily my old man has one still and canāt make it a lot of the time, so I get to use his ticket.
A week to make you love the football again
Indeed what a week for you, that game in Seville!! Europa League gets a bad rep but I like it
Blimey! I thought heād be a bit old for the top flight & all those late Hacienda nights would have stopped him training
Klopp offā¦end of an era there.
Theyāll be all over Xabi Alonso.
