It seems that few teams will challenge the Germans for midfield possession & the English dominated it. Great to see them pull it off!

Keeping Kane out of the defense and leaving him up front didnāt expose his on-ball challenges against quality defenders. Allowing the build to start with Maguire & end with Sterling bedeviled the Germans.
Tired and emotional. Unbelievable. Absolutely buzzing when those goals went in. Finally weāve done it!!!

England, Italy, Spain & Belgium now. Very little between them imo.
Going to stick with my original choice of Italy. Would love a Danish fairytale.

Definitely. Belgium or Italy will be out next round. Potentially down to 3 top sides. Get to the final and you have a nearly full Wembley behind you.
It will be all about not getting too far ahead. Weāve already seen underdogs take scalps.

The right mentality and England are in the semis. Ukraine are bang average. No better than Croatia or the Czech Republic.

Ukraine are the worst team left in the tournament for me, if you go on group stage form. They got out of the group on three points and only because Sweden ā who they remorsefully knocked out in the next round ā scored a late goal against Poland in the final game. England should do it and I agree itās tedious when we play Sweden. Happy itās Ukraine who will offer more space for England to attack, if they decide to.
