My tuppence re the difference between a floaty banger and a progressive track… I’d say they are quite a way apart. Floaty Bangers = deep house / Carl Craig / Detroit strings / dub / Bukem / music with air and space…
Progressive House (+Revival) - Pulling from '92 - '94 Italian house b sides but jacked up for now… As with the scene with no name and how it relates to the original balearic scene and ‘Driving Away From Home’, it differs from the original prog sound of timbales rolls and dub basslines and is something new but takes a feel from there…
