In college, Chevy Chase played drums in a jazz-rock trio called Leather Canary. Seeing no future in it, he quit to go off and become a globally successful comic actor. The remaining members decided to keep going as a duo, but changed their name to Steely Dan.

Danny Tenaglia had been commissioned to remix World (The Price Of Love) by New Order. Warner Dance loved the result, but New Order did not. DT removed the vocals and the samples from New Order, and so was born Bottom Heavy.
Well there you go, I did buy a New Order record. sort of.
While iām here, I found out last night that I share a birthday with Weird Al Yankovic.
Saw the same video and never knew where it came from either, would love to hear the whole thing as he just played a snippet. Timeline makes sense as London records got thr whole new order back catalog and had anyone and everyone remixing.

In the late 1970s and pre-FGTH, Holly Johnson was once in a band called Big In Japan, with Bill Drummond (KLF), Ian Broudie (Lightning Seeds) and Budgie (Siouxie).
David Balfe was also in the band before going on to work at Parlophone and signing Blur.
