Speaking of afternooners for kids there was one at the Electric Ballroom in Camden, possibly ‘84.
Think it was possibly Bambatta, Grandmaster Flash. Not sure.
A quick google cant find it though. My memory is very vague as my parents wouldn’t let me go. Still fuming about it 40 years later!

The Sub Club in Glasgow used to do a Saturday evening club for the young team before the adult night started. It was much crazier than the adult shenanigans! Your parents probably had sense.
Now there’s alfos in the afternoon - life turning full circle to leave us where we started!

Fave Newcleus tune. Me and some mates devised a breakdance routine to put on for family and friends to this track.
The day came and we performed. I went in for the ‘windmill’ and farted…Loudly!. Mortified to this day.
