Dub Love Time

Lee Perry’s passing has sent me down a massive dub vortex. I’m no expert but I know what I like and want to be further educated.

What are your favourite dubbed out bits of music? They don’t have to be specifically reggae based, just anything that conforms to the aesthetic.

I’m sure that there are specialist dub forums out there but I’d love to get the more eclectic selections that the Test Pressing hive mind will throw up.

Here’s some of my random favourites to start:

Tubby from an early dub album, impeccable desk skills

Bill Laswell with a rolling cavernous dub waltz.

Obvious but needs to be in there.

Recent Ozric side project discovery on the excellent Spaced out! comp.

Couple of Sherwood bits:

Jah Division. Dub Will Tear Us Apart.

May well have already featured on the covers thread but combines a cool name and a dub version of a classic track so a winner on both counts in my book.

You reminded me that I forgot to post this. Brilliant vocal and incessant plodding rhythm.
