Myrtle. Parson Russel terrier. Trouble is her business.

And Myrtle with Boo, who is quite ancient and not as tolerant as this image suggests.

Bowie making the sofa he was told never to go on his own

Ha, been there. Before Scout turned up I was adamant we weren’t the sort of family that would have a dog on the sofa. Now there’s nothing better than having a little leg warmer lying at your feet.

Love this picture of Nano (rip) and a mate at that place in Ibiza

Dog sitting this guy. He’s a bit of a prima-donna and not much of a dogs dog but he’s well cute.

I don’t have the living situation/lifestyle to own a dog but have always been dog crazy so I love seeing all the shots here of your hounds. Hopefully one day I will have a more suitable situation, and will have my own furry pal.

Love this picture taken in Sheriff St Dublin early 80s and was a tough part of town. Even 4yr olds were making a plan to get the ball back from that bull. I asked someone from there about the dog and he said he was crazy and deaf but not aggressive just hung around with the kids but no chance of getting the ball back when he got it…

It’s always great when we meet another Staffy in the park - these two played for ages yesterday. My boy Herbie is 4months old, his new friend Jade is 14 months and obviously pretty small for a Staffordshire, but you should have seen how fast she ran for a tennis ball! Explosive power.

My ex had a English Bull Terrier. Biggest one I have ever seen. He was the boss that’s for sure. I used to love looking after him. I have an amazing video of him casually knocking my eldest daughter over when she was a baby with his giant nose and she was laughing her head off. I had this annoying but extremely loving yorkie towards me, my ex wife and ex mother in law only (rescue dog from a crack house) at that point and she would continuously tell him off. He was quite calm about it until one day he just picked her up in his mouth and carried her through the park. Kept her quiet. For a bit!

this is maple - she’s our new foster dog. she’s about a year old, originally from texas, and is nearly perfect.

she’s strong but gentle and is quiet and well-mannered in the house. she has a very relaxed energy and while it’s only been a few days, i have yet to see her get animated or upset. the only faults i’ve found in her so far is that she jumps up when excited and tries to kind of bop you with her front paws. also, she REALLY wants to get up on the couch, but that’s verboten (not just with us, the rescue organization wants us to make sure we’re not setting up full-time adoptees for failure).

there’s a very good chance i decide to keep her for myself!

An absolute beauty

Definitely Keep. What’s the background story? She looks in great condition I’ve seen alot of rescued pit bulls in videos that would just break your heart how they are treated and the work the volunteers do in America for these dogs is beyond anything you would see anywhere else…

Good on you for fostering. Looks semi pittie, a breed that are lovely, but like many in history attracted a poor standard of owners and therefore also got a bad name. I hope you get to keep her.

Beautiful dog indeed - keep us updated with her progress.

My sisters red nose who was brought in from Holland for more than likely fighting ring but was rescued at young age and has been a pleasure to have. Doesn’t like big dogs or loud people…He is constantly on Alert+ as you can see, watching everything and sleeps with one eye open
