Ive a cockapoo & a cavapoo that get dead excited when lead comes out but hide when they see you with the equafleece realising its going to be put on

Our cockapoo hates his coat. Tried explaining that its to stop him getting caked in muck but he won’t listen. (he is pretty deaf so maybe it’s that?)
