So sorry to read your post just now Nick. It’s a day we all must face as dog owners and although some people don’t understand the grief, many of us know they are truly family through and through.

Thanks mate, I appreciate that, it’s true, like losing a family member, a family member you actually like & love though.

Decided a plastic sword is her favourite stick/toy. Takes it everywhere, it’s probably got a week left judging by the state of it.

So sorry to hear that. My dog passed away earlier his year and I’m still dealing with it.

I was getting dog food today and saw this… Halloween and New Year’s were always a nightmare for our dogs.

We just get diazepam now. Tried a few things over the years and the benzos are guaranteed calm for her.

Definitely… We’re lucky our dog has no problems with fireworks he’s straight up and outside investigating lol

She wasn’t bothered by them for years and then it just changed. If she hears a single firework, she’s stressed for hours. She’s currently taking trazodone (and steroids) for the cancer related issues, but not risking it without diazepam.

Fool you’re all up in my face YO!

This little guy’s tactic with fireworks is to dive deep into my bed and fall asleep. 14 years of the best naps of his life.
