I have to refrain from looking at this thread. My willingness to say no to the repeated requests for a dog from the kids is starting to break

This is me walking (well, trying to) by my local pub with 2 of ours. I swear I haven’t taught her to fall over outside, look at me with puppy dog eyes and suggest we go in…

Down in Aberdeen to spend some time with my wee girl. Aberdeen has been as grey as I remember, but lovely just hanging out at the beach/park/dog friendly cafe/pub.

Despite the nervous smile, she’s absolutely not having it and to be honest neither am I. Pant solution it is. (She had a cyst removed)

I’ve posted on this thread before about my neighbour’s dog, a lovely old Collie called Meg, who i’ve walked around the block & local park for my neighbour most nights & weekends for the last 18 months or so
Unfortunately age caught up with her and this morning she took her final trip to the vets :disappointed:.
She was a lovely, friendly, gentle dog who’ll be missed by many in the neighbourhood.

Ah poor old Meg, she looks lovely. Our first dog was a collie called Meg, such nice dogs. How kind of you to exercise her like that for your neighbour into her old age

Meg was a belter.

My neighbour is as lovely as her dog was, kind, considerate and thoughtful, a rare breed.
She’s very close to my young daughter and is like a grandmother to her, walking her dog was something I enjoyed and was the least I could do for her tbh.
