Just went with my mate to pick up his new charity dog from Spain so a very balearic dog though I get the feeling he’s more into dub. He’s an absolute beauty. Lovely temperament too.

As a lifelong dog lover i’m not sure why i haven’t checked this thread out before now, but anyway this is my dog Lola, she’s a Staffie cross i got from Manchester Dog’s Home when she was about 9 months old, she’s 12 now, a bit greyer around the face & her hearing isn’t what it was but she’s still in good shape.
She was my dog initially but when i changed jobs & my mother retired she became her dog really & they were out everyday walking around various parks in Nth Manchester & beyond, best friends, then Mam developed Alzheimers & after a while she couldn’t take Lola out alone so she became my dog again.
My mam died on New Year’s Eve from advanced Dementia, i’m grateful she had Lola in her life & had those few years of stress free retirement, being out in nature with her best mate.

Said goodbye to our old friend today, nearly 14 years of laughs and fun.
Been a shit week all in all.
