Deep House Ingredients

So,just though i’d start a topic on deep house and what hits the spot with you?

Is it all about the bassline? Do silky vocals make it for ya or the percussion side of things or a combo of these things?

One of my current all time favourites is this

Wow I wouldn’t know where to start as so much good music. Erm I will make an effort though.

I have always been taken by percussive heavy house music so this record for starters

This is probably one of my most played records, as far as deep house goes he is up there with the best.

I will be back to this thread many times no doubt

Heavy bottom end, subtle vocals, insistent driving groove and a nice kick…

Someone already mentioned Morning Factory which has gotta be up there, but I’ll go with this…

I think I’d just have my hands in the air for the duration if someone played it in a club, so hadn’t thought of it as deep. But yes it’s amazing.
