Going to Croatia at the end of the month for a week. Basing myself in Rovinj, but will be travelling about.
Any recommendations for places to visit, eat, shop etc will be gratefully received.

Rovinj is lovely.
Resturant Puntalina is on the seafront, great for sunsets.
Mediterraneo Cocktail Bar is also on the sea front, also great for sunsets and drinks.
Theres a few other good resturants, when I remember Iāll send them over.
If you are into your wine and wanted to treat yourself, I would recommend lunch at meneghetti hotel, they are also winery, lovely grounds. But spenny. Its about 25 min drive from rovinj.
You wont be far from Pula so a day trip there would be a good idea.
Zadar, thank me laterā¦
Currently in Muline, Ugljan, island directly opposite Zadar. Would recommend. Oltre Mare and Andrioli both in Preko worth a check. Our first time in Croatia, itās been very hot but lovely.
Heading to Zadar itself later in the week, any tips greatly appreciated!
Another recomendation for Zadar (and the island opposite Ugljan).
we had a couple of excellent meals in the old town L'Osteria 12, Zadar (@losteria12restaurant) ā¢ Instagram photos and videos and https://2ribara.com/
Zadar (old town) was nice. Did a couple of nights post festival one year at Art Hotel Kalelago. Some while ago but they do great cakes etc if youāre passing. White tea & olive oil cake was recommended to us and was lovely.
The āsea organā is an awesome musical installation, not to be missed.
Not sure about bars etc, is The Garden still there?
If travelling further south then the islands there are all highly recommended (Vis, Korcula, hvar, braÄ, mljet, lastova). But quite far from Rovinj.
Went to a festival near there 10 years ago and regrettably only visited Rovinj on one the last days, so donāt have much in the way of recommendations. Itās a lovely town though, plenty of nice looking restaurants. You can climb up one of the churches (canāt remember which one sorry) and you get some great views from up there.
Zadar sunset accompanied by the Sea Organ was blissful
