From the opening track Izit / Stories to the closing track Paradise Orchestra / Satisfy Your Dreams its (almost) all killer and defo a good example of what was going on at the time.

A dedication to Paradise Garage covering a wide range from Hip Hop (“Girls”) to vocal heavy Downtempo (“Criminal Mind”, “Code of Love”) to House gems (“B-Cause”). Highly recommended!

This compilation is an overview of the underground electronic scene of Lisbon: 25 artists based there got together to raise funds. All proceeds will go to União Audiovisual, an association supporting musicians and art professionals struggling because of the pandemic.

Which is coincidentally what they paid the graphic designer who made that cover…

Lovely collection from Moonboots:

Part 1 and 2 are great, part 1 just shades it:

I could have picked any Claremont 56 comp, but this one is still doing it for me:

As CDs were the first medium for me I have a soft spot for folks still flying the CD comp flag (hat tip -Public Possession). Somehow had slept on this beauty - 10 cuts of pitched down/enhanced psy trance edits by Alexis Le-Tan in a beautiful package by Ill Studio. Even my dance music sceptic wife loves it.

I love buying CDs from Discogs - you find loads that never made it to streaming/digital without having to pay the costs of vinyl.

Dream team those two… Ill Studio are so good.

really loving this from Young Marco’s label Safe Trip. Early 90s ambient trance (but not that kind of trance!), goes well with the Italian Dream House compilations from a few years back and the Virtual Dreams compilation from last year. Perfect for these humid summer evenings.

I’ll check that out - big fan of the Italian dream house comps.

Love Mad Monks on Zinc one of my absolute favourites from that era

It goes without question that the Mercury Rising Comps are pretty good. New one out on Friday. Hopefully most of us will be back in Freddies next year!

Nice One. Have a couple of their others somewhere but never seen that before. Just checked and nearly all of those tracks are on Spotify. :+1:
