Clobber - a clothes thread

That’s what I love about them. They’re dead comfy and don’t actually feel like a suit.

I just bought some pieces from wax but haven’t tried them on yet, quality was much better than I thought they’d be.

Great tip. Is it stuff from previous seasons? Some great bargains

Looks like the majority of bits are SS24.

Cheers chaps. Defo going to go with UW. Don’t need to pull the trigger for a while yet, so will keep an eye on their sales over the next few months.

+1 for UW suits, got one for a wedding earlier this year, lovely quality and fit. They use Paul Smiths tailors for any alterations if you buy in the Nottingham store.

Top quality merch received just now, thanks @apiento

I can already anticipate the confused faces of my work colleagues when I wear this to the office

The new Real McCoy’s A/W24 campaign is pretty edgy…

That is absolutely lovely, had a mailer from rivet and Hyde on it and was trying to work out if I can afford it (I can’t) and if I need another jacket (I don’t)…but I’m still tempted, one of those that’ll last forever

It’s a jacket for life for sure! It’s made from all the good stuff.

down from £779 to £625

In Nottm we have a great massive Army Surplus ( Anchor) . Obviously everything is musty but all the nice stuff has massive sleeves ( for body armour)
Got some nice UK lightweights from there (for dog walking , not poncing)

Buzz Rickson used to sell the blue sea bees jacket which is also a winner. Bronson MFG. do an extremely good quality reproduction of the N1 jacket. I have several items from them and they compare very well to Buzz and Real McCoy items, but less $$.

They had a few Real McCoy’s navy N1’s in TKM Manchester a few weeks back, and there are other bits dotted around the country (all old End stock, I’m guessing).

The N1’s were only £350. RRP is £885

Size 40 mind, and they come up really small.

All the OG N1’s will cost the same, if not more than the Buzz, tbh. And will usually be heavily soiled. Sold a fair few over the years.

Also a nice N1 although not quite as nice as the Buzz Rickson’s
