Clannad Interview

The mighty Clannad will perform their last ever concert in the Royal Albert Hall next Wednesday 30 October and will perform the music from the HTV series Robin of Sherwood. This album Legend has also been re-issued and with some lost Master Tapes located , is now a double pack, vinyl , cd etc.
Here is an interview from last week with the band leader Pól Brennan. I ask him about Robin, the upcoming gig, synthesizers, potential remixes and those Cantoma mixes which appear on 4 of Clannads records.

Thanks for sharing. Clannad soundtracked much of my youth. Spoke to Phil Mison about his remixes when he was playing at the Aficionado party in Manchester earlier this year. Coinleach Glás an Fhomair is one of his best ever remixes (up there with Shawn Lee’s San Diego and Fug’s Don’t Look Back).

Past and Present is such a good entry for anyone who wants a well rounded Clannad comp.

Hoping there are still tickets for the Royal Albert Hall!

Agreed on all of the above! same for me.
Phil had a remix on four different albums( cd release only) . To have them all on one shiny twelve would be sweet! There are still RAH tickets available.
