Thought we should have a cat thread after seeing some discussion about felines in another thread. Here’s ours…
They are brother and sister, 9 months old and we adopted them from the RSPCA in October, the kids named them. I had cats growing up but we have not had pets since having the kids. I can safely say they are now firmly part of the family and the kids are obsessed with them.
Here’s our oldiewonk Toppy. She’s 17 and almost totally deaf but she can hear a treat bag being opened from a mile away 
This is the maddest cat I’ve ever known. Cannoli. He’s four and a half. He’s totally brilliant.

Jasper and Marceline (Marcy). Brother and sister. Pretty much kittens in the photo, they’re both approaching 9 now. Got them when the kids were little, can’t imagine our family without them.
my kid is obsessed with cats and would looooove for us to get one.
but, the kid has cat allergies, we have a dog that would gladly eat a cat given the chance, and i hate cat boxes and the smell of cat pee. and if a cat scratched up the spines of my records (like i’ve seen happen way too many times) i would lose my goddamn mind.
still, i consider getting one now and again, and just risking the situations. i know my dog would warm up to one eventually.

Just to let you know my son Serge spent some time yesterday on this thread memorising all your cats’ names.
I got 2 decent pics of ours today. They’re definitely getting friendlier, Willow spent the first month in a corner behind a plant pot!
This is Cilla (Cilla Black cat).
We got her from a local charity four years ago (she’d been found abandoned on the street as a kitten), and she now basically runs the house.
I got a real soft spot for older cats, that burned through 8 lives and still going energy
