Does anyone remember hearing a version of this balearic classic on one of them dodgy 80’s love albums that was completely different to the Chic produced version? Maybe a bit more balearic sounding these days to the Chic one? Would love to hear a soundclip, can’t find any online, I did find the love album listed on Discogs at one point, but can’t find it now…

At the risk of going a bit OT just remembered when the late, great Michael Cook dropped the Memory Band cover at one of the lowlife festies early on in the morning and it sounded just right

My lasting memory of The Trip was a bunch of us coming down to London for it in August 89 aged 18 having been raised on Midland and Northern DJs mixing genres up a storm
Holloway and Tong couldn’t mix and locals in their pastel wallabees and hoodies would applaud between records, which cracked us up
And small cans of beer were £3.50
