Looking for car hire recommendations please. Ideally the French equivalent of Moto Luis - friendly, independent, great value and zero hassle/shark behaviour.

Thé cheapest place for french hire cars is the supermarket e leclerc. But maybe a hassle to get to from an airport. But worth checking because they are a fraction of the price of the usual suspects (hertz, enterprise etc).
Also, they don’t mess you around. But they’re obvs a big outfit.
