Grailed seems to have a lot of mainline Armani and not super expensive.
While Constant Practice have a lot of Emporio Armani and it is really expensive (but also in the case of this jumpsuit…Balearic?)

Etsy is brilliant for linens. I’ve got some great t shirts and trousers from really cool folks that way. Lithuania recently.
I’m the proud owner of an 80s Armani suit courtesy of my eldest brother…a lovely light blue, long, slightly over-sized jacket, double pleated trousers. After a nip and tuck here and there it fits beautifully. I think its the bollocks.
However, I seem to be in a minority and on the occasions I’ve worn it out a thick skin is required to deflect the constant piss taking from pals…Miami Vice comparisons the obvious insult but looking like an 80s ad exec and simply ‘a wanker’ are also bandied around. Mind you the ladies love it.
I bought a late 80s Armani suit on eBay about 20 years ago. It was beautifully made but I looked like Alan Yentob.
I used to work with someone who had a penchant for those Issey Miyake pleated outfits, they were absolutely exquisitely made
Having lived through it and bought lots of it, zero interest in going back to the 80s. Loads of really nice stuff being made now.
Ha. Amazing. I mean the paper has to be a better gift than whatever was inside!
I basically look like this at work…![]()
Looks like Yasmin Le Bon ![]()
It’s Marpessa Hennick. Original supermodel
Used to get this also, 85/86/87. Some wonderful stuff in there. Picked up a couple at reasonable cost recently. Here’s some pics
So good!
Sandra. Always a handful…![]()
