I went to see Spanish guitarist Melón Jiménez and flute player Lara Wong at an intimate gig at the back of a bookshop last night. They’re been working together for a few years and are both outstanding musicians, covering a full range of jazz, flamenco, electronic, Indian and Moroccan flavours. Much of it was from this album which is just out:
