Lots of good stuff on here
What do we make of this then? Musically its not totally my thing but you cant say its not interesting. You have to hand it to Paul Woolford, he doesnt mess about and deserves respect for getting the blessing of The KLF if nothing else
Agree with all of that view, Joe. Turning Point is the only track there that I’d be interested in personally; but you can’t buy individual tracks. The whole thing is definitely interesting as an idea.
Loving this new comp from Rush Hour.
For me he’s a great producer. He doesn’t make music for us really (though sometimes he does) but to me he’s a quality producer making great sounds. Love him
Shout to Jason Boardman for alerting me that Under Allt are on Bandcamp/digital. Got the first one on vinyl, it’s that lovely Lissvik/Studio sound.
New album here.
New album is killer…
Looks or sounds interesting
See above from Joe.
Is it just me that gets put off albums where most of the tracks are less than 4 minutes long?
As ever, it depends. Rather ‘radio edit’ perfection in a short burst than endless tracks that don’t add anything.
Nope, I share your frustration.
If the tracks are 5/6 mins plus I’m more likely to buy than if they’re less than 4……
Mad when you think that music is surely quality over quantity.
I blame the kids these days, and their non-existent attention spans
Exactly this! Checked that recent Mndsgn album and the tunes are like 1. 29, the longer tracks were just over 2 minutes. I don’t get it at all.
Another reissue from Sunny Crypt. 90s cosmic ambient breakbeat action.
If anyone needs some disco in their lives, Lee Douglas has got everything half price and made individual tracks available for 24hrs only. Vol 4 of his personal edits has some real classics on it.
Love a bit of Svaneborg Kardyb
