Think this will be of interest to most. A sort of Ibiza jazz funk supergroup headed up by Harry from Word Of Mouth cafe in Santa Eularia, and produced by Nathan Haines

Find Your Way is the debut album from Ibiza based seven piece collective The Illusions, a project born through years of live improvisation, friendship and musical exploration on the island’s east coast.

Blending jazz, jazz funk, soul, afro influenced rhythms and Balearic energy with touches of electronica and hip hop culture, the album captures a side of Ibiza rarely documented. Beyond the global club image lies a deep community of musicians, selectors and artists shaped by live performance, dancefloor connection and open ended collaboration.

Originally formed through jam sessions at WOM Radio Café in Santa Eulària, The Illusions evolved organically into a powerful live ensemble featuring Antonio Blakstad, Pere Navarro, Antonio Prosper, Toni Marí, Arturo García, Franco Botto and Katana McKenzie.

Produced and mixed by Nathan Haines, Find Your Way bridges the raw energy of live musicianship with rich arrangements, hypnotic grooves and cinematic moments that move between spiritual jazz, deep funk and late night Balearic soul.

From the rolling percussion and locked groove of Juju Mellow, to the expansive spiritual depth of PSALMS and the slow burning funk of Slow It Down, the album reflects the shared musical language developed between the band over years of performing together.

Find Your Way is both a debut album and a statement of intent. A contemporary live record shaped by community, independence and a deep love of musicianship, collaboration and collective spirit.

This is another side of Ibiza.

New Mr Bongo comp by Danny Psychemagik under his Skyrager moniker. Double vinyl.

Welcome to Coconut Dreams, a mythical, utopian retreat nestled in the most exquisite of settings, crafted and conjured up by esteemed collector, producer and DJ, Skyrager. At the heart of the experience is a soundtrack evoking this tropical paradise, with an undercurrent of serenity that carries you gently away from the familiar into the expansive. A collection of pleasure-heavy tracks to lean into and get lost within, journeying through sun-drenched folk, dream-inducing soul, astral ambience, AOR breeziness, and much more in between.

Fell in love with Mind Fair - Hiding From My Shadow

From OM Unit:

Good morning all.

You may or may not have heard the news that Bandcamp has laid off almost all it’s Engineers. This is not a good sign. This platform is aging and has been sold off twice in recent years to diffrent hedge funds.

Now is a good time to check out Subvert.fm - it’s community-owned and growing..

All of my self-released music is also available there at www.subvert.fm/omunit

In solidarity,
Jim
