very nice indeed
Really digging some of these Joe, good work
Cheers mate
Having some fun at the studio, here a couple of current examples, both on the slower side of the dancefloor:
and also this:
Made an edit for Dig This Way Records
It’s part of the repress of a 80s disco gem from Nigeria.
The folks from the label travel there every year to track down the artists and involve them on the release, sharing rights, profits, etc. so everything is done properly
Enjoy
Great stuff - Neo Italian Dream house which is is similiar to a lot of my productions
Loving this!
Overly long intro, not produced and mistakes but its as good as it going to get.
Love it
A couple of edits I recently put on Bandcamp for free download/streaming.
The first is a great Italo Disco track from 1984 that I am sure a lot of people on this forum know about and just tried dubbing it out ( had a lend of a Space Echo for a weekend so why not )
The second is proper New Jersey early 90s on Tribal America where I added pads under a extended break which turned out pretty decent
Lovely stuff
This is a new project that has just been released
Get the TR8S. Has all of the X0X drums machines in there.
Made a new one. Glad that I can post it here as no one elsewhere is likely to hear it.
Is this hardware only? Liking it!
Thanks. Yes, I’m one of those people, into records and hardware synths, haha. Some of it is old hardware effect units too, but not all as I still add some reverbs on the computer when mixing.
I mean lets be honest they sound loads better. I like the odd soft synth saying that…
I reckon someone who is good at working with synths can make any soft synth sound great. I’m not that good so hardware is an easier starting point for me. I managed to find a few relative bargains over the years and they are more fun to play with than using a screen, a mouse and a midi keyboard.
Agree. I went down a modular wormhole and have been having loads of fun and managing not to get lost in not making music with it which is good. Most fun I’ve had in years… What’s in your studio?
