Probably already posted , don’t think I’ve heard it before…

Tribute night in Brighton next weekend. intimate venue, modest door tax https://ra.co/events/2127704
I saw him play a couple of times at the Disco Deviant nights
Sadly I’m going to see a large and very mainstream electronica act in London that night, otherwise I’d be well into it
I went to one of those disco deviant nights in 2020. Great night! The next night in Bristol was a cracker too with Chez de Milo.
Some of Weatherall’s studio equipment up for auction
Yeah i saw this. From the blurb Ian W wants them to be used. If they sit idle they’ll just be even more knackered. If you read any of the condition reports they’re all faulty already; probably littered with tea, biccys + spliffs!
My guess is they’ll be bought by rich fans or producers, but primarily as items of memorabilia rather than studio workhorses
Annie Nightingales’s collection is also up for auction, with a few AW related lots

Lot 226 - WEATHERALL / SABRES OF PARADISE - 12" PROMOS
i’ve wanted one of those notron sequencers forever. the magical cow patty.
If I remember the story correctly the graffitti ones were all laid out and painted as a batch - so together they make one picture…but I may be thinking of something else.
I am also thinking Richard Sen had something to do with it??
Yeah he did the graffiti on them…
Nina Walsh has just shared this. Country tinged slow burners mix by Mr Weatherall. Track ID’s from Flightpath FB page. Couple of missing ones. Feel like the one that starts at 26 mins should be an easy find but nothing coming up.

This really hit home. If someone said to any one of us that there’d be 34 white label promos of AW related records we’d all say we couldn’t afford it.
Auctioneers estimated between £100 and £150 and are probably made up that the bids are up to £180.
Kind of hits home that what we think are nest eggs truly only hold value for a very, very select few.
I dunno, most of those saberretes records are still all super cheap and have been for years.
there are obviously some AW records that are pretty spenny and will probably stay that way, but they’re things he actually produced completely, not other groups he just put out.
Exactly this.
Its already an expensive lot for some very cheap/readily available records: before the hammer has dropped & Omega add their 28.8% commission. They’re normally sensible on shipping atleast!
The 2 KLF lots seem quite underestimated particularly the albums. A decent copy of Chill out would cost you nearly the estimate on its own.
The nicest thing about a lot of those Weatherall records will be the promo letters as he had a really nice way with one of those…
They’re all included as well by the looks of things.
This was a great night - Weatherall in dub funk mode
