A tune ID from Maurice Fulton and Marcellus Pittman - We Out Here

Hello TP’ers.

I was stood dancing on Friday afternoon at We Out Here going through a full body workout courtesy of Fulton and Pittman. One of them dropped a record that sounded like D-Train/Chromeo and I know I have heard it before, the main hook in the chorus is ‘deep deep love’ and it sounds like a D-Train track in the main. Can anyone help? It had a vocal throughout but kept going into the ‘deep deep love’ hook throughout the track. It’s driving me mental trying to work this one out and I know I have heard it before.

Ta,

Tom

I am pretty sure it was ‘deep deep love’.

No worries. I’m intrigued myself. Marcellus loves his boogie tunes.

What a great set! We arrived Friday afternoon and went straight into it - such a vibe. Italo, disco, house - it had it all

It wasn’t actually D-Train ‘Keep Giving Me love’ was it? The main chorus could easily be mistaken for deep deep love?

I thought they were spectacular, really loved the music throughout - needed that release after it being so hot. It went off!!

No worries. Bet it sounded great up loud. Really wanted to go this year but never made it. Next year for sure.

Seconded. I really need to go next year.
Not caught Fulton since he played Spiritland so 3/4 years ago. So good.
He can play lots of known/‘obvious’ stuff but make it sound special

Yeah I had a life changing experience listening to him play Talking Heads once. He’s the real deal.

I was also there around 5-6pm and they were playing some excellent tunes - none of which I knew. My phone had run out of juice so I couldn’t record any for later identification. That D-Train tune is huge, but I already know it and didn’t hear them play it. I’d love it if anyone could chime in with more tunes they spotted!
