This is Bixby Bridge yesterday. We got about 15km along Big Sur past here then got denied by a landslide and had to take a 3.5 hour detour back the way we came to get where we were going. Absolute killer
Still, SF has been fun. The Stones were great, here’s the stadium filling up.

Side note: we’ve been here a week and seen several incidences of Trump support, and precisely zero for Dems / Biden. I didnt expect that in Cali. He’s going to win isnt he?

You make California look fun again! I lived there 25 years and mostly loved it. Then I didn’t.
Trump people are rowdy and obnoxious. No one knows what’s going on with Biden. I’m worried.

You may very well think so and you may even be right. I’m worried ‘cos enough Americans are batshit crazy, have no understanding of the real world, and are suckers for all Trump’s P. T. Barnum-style crap. If Trump wins, it’s game over in environmental terms although I’ll admit that it might be anyway whoever wins. Odds are just a bit better with the Dems.

Hopefully Kamala can turn this around, I’m not entirely optimistic though. Time and exposure is everything in what is ultimately a pissing contest.

i think the original idea was “photos, nothin’ but photos” (which was the name of my old photo thread on DJH).
but, after a while it also became a discussion channel, so the “& one” was added. i could be wrong about that.
