Such a brilliant record… I sort of strung it out if anyone wants a free wav… I miss owning that one.

Manny’s the Dude! I*d love to have heard that! Vladimir Ivkovic was playing an updated edit of it too last year. It’s one of those tracks that buries itself deep inside you.

Thank you - that was kind.

Sounding great on my speakers today - deep!

Great thread. Think this has aged quite gracefully and has some trance elements.

We’re repressing our reissue of this, if anyone is interested

Not heard that no - link?

Gypsy I Trance You up thread is amazing still. And the Art of Dance album by Barbarella still gets a spin round here occasionally

Always liked this, and the Caspar Pound mix. .

And I still contend early Underworld is more Trance than Techno adjacent…

I played this out a few times in the recent past, slowed it down to maybe -6 and it got a lot of interest.
I might’ve seen it got reissued recently too.

the fact some people can prefer this sort of thing to breakbeat hardcore really boggles my mind to this day. The goa stuff this inspired is so tacky! Keep the balearic boys ona tight leash!

Like I said upthread, the more this stuff is just longform techno/acid, the better. when it deviates from that, then there be dragons.

Can’t go wrong with Dave Angel sets from the time.

that’s a tune, but the trance/techno split had taken place by then, surely? there’s another one from '95 which is like that but I can’t remember.
