Actually listening to it, there’s hardly any FM synth parts. Yes, a DX can sound analogue in the right hands but not many can pull it off, and certainly not back then, and in this particular circumstance it’s mostly analogue. Not disputing the fact they had a TX816 but it certainly wasn’t the workhorse of the record even though he specifically mentions it. Memories get hazy, I know from experience, one remembers certain things but that record is definitely not a DX FM fest.

Yeah I would have to agree. Certain parts sound FMish but IMO there are other, analog synths in that mix for sure.
