Amazing.
Bumping this thread because there were so many killer digs from you all.
Here’s a jazz cover of a Carl Craig cut, should be right up everyone’s alley:
I struggle with a lot of Jazz tbh so i’m no expert but this is one i like from a couple of years ago.
Sold an original copy of the Stan Tracey this week, nice record but pricey
No Joe Henderson yet?
I’ve always thought someone should cut this groove down to 4/4 and make a dubby remix out of this:
Ambient:
Some late 70s sell-out fusion that still kicks ass:
Balearic:
One of my all time ECM favourites:
70s German fusion was some of the best:
Sounds way more contemporary than 1962.

This lovely bit of proggy jazz fusion has just been reissued by Mr Bongo.
Definitely checking this.
Lovely record. Just pulled this one out the other day.
Even Keith’s bad records are really good.
My dear departed Dad was a PROPER jazz fan. All vinyl too, and played on a B&O turntable through a wood and metal B&O amp. My kid sister thinks she has rights on his collection, but she is wrooooong
He has a copy of the ‘Ornette Coleman live at Birdland’ LP, cover of which has stick in my head since I was a little kid. Loads of Coltrane and Davis too. I miss him a lot (my Dad, not Miles Davis )
