I think that’s the fifth time I’ve seen them. TEE into Metal on Metal is always worth the price of entry!
The heat was so intense we ended up being directed by what was the coolest spot rather than who was playing and didn’t pay much attention to set times. It really is a great little festival. Sound quality is fantastic.
You might have seen the Another Thought all dayer which looks like a proper day out. We’ve got a friends and family code for anyone that fancies it. There’s lots for anyone that enjoys TP from the Idjuts on… https://ra.co/events/2381579?p=CREWDISCOUNT-99c
Gil Scott-Heron by Brian Jackson & Yasiin Bey | Sydney Opera House This tonight should be good ![]()
Just spent the weekend at Try Outs in Bucharest. It was a special one for me. A great city and a really great bunch of parties in varied spaces - including an old car park that channeled diy vibes. I loved the music and the folks were of the highest quality. It was lovely to catch up with Gregg too, but next time we have to get a proper natter and break bread together!!
If anyone is curious next year, I’d very highly recommend it. What a gem; fun fun fun!!!
Really really great weekend! Great venues, people and music. Made it home late last night after a long hot of day travelling, but so worth it. Will definitely be back and look forward to catching up again sometime del! Another thought is the next big one in the schedule for me and hope to meet a few forum folk there too, along with seeing some of the tryouts crew who were all lovely! ![]()

I have a ticket for this and for ALFOS afterwards, but an impromptu visit to McChuills for Dave Angel last night has left me a bit broken! At thispoint I cannot see myself going out for another mad night so soon.
Ive broken myself at few nights thinking I’ll pop into McChuills and take it easy. Never happens as their bookings are so consistently good. Its still a week away till next Saturday … you’ll be fine by then
Lovely artwork.
It’s far too easy done. I’m convinced that I’ll just go for a few innocent pints. Then when I’m a couple of beers deep, someone casually mentions that RichardSen is playing next door!
Sorry for another non-music post in this thread but Tracy Emin at the Tate modern - just wow… Don’t think I have ever come out of an exhibition feeling so affected.
That had kind of passed me by - will look into it now
Last minute tickets going if anyone can use them - two for Brian Jackson at Church of Sound in London tonight. Great venue. Project deadline means can’t make it sadly.
caught Lil Louis in Hove, Faith event a month or so back. kinda brilliant technically but in terms of moving the crowd a little lacking. even dropped Nat King Cole at one stage
