I’ll be down for this. I’m hopeless at going to gigs but it’s TP friendly and felt compelled after his lovely chat with Charlie Bones which I’ve played about 3 times! ---

Few mates were in Bristol last weekend for an all dayer with bands from back in the early 90s The Bluestones, The House of Love The Wonder Stuff loads of others from that era… Some absolute Train Wreck performances as expected and Some brilliant sets… Peter Hook and band were really good as were Jim bob previously of Carter USM… Looked a good day out… ---

Others might have different experiences but I never once enjoyed the Ministry. The security were always on top and it sometimes took up to 45 minutes to get served + endless tourists/halfwits (this was in 2000s so might have changed). I think it’s a shame he couldn’t do a mate’s rates gig somewhere smaller for the committed fans. ---

Yep! Really looking forward to it! I’ll keep an eye out for you @del 👍🏻 Staying close to the old town so should be handy enough for the tryouts parties. Not sure we’ll make the Thursday night as our flight doesn’t get in till after 11pm, but will see how it goes. No plans for anything else yet other than tryouts, should actually start a thread for recommendations as I’ve never been to Bucharest before ---

Excellent Gregg! I’ll keep my eyes peeled for you. I’ll be wearing my Undertones T shirt! I’m going with pals that were there before so I’m sure they’ll point us in the right direction too. They said that Ubers are the best way for getting around. Someone also mentioned there used to be a wild dog problem but that’s been sorted now 😳.
