Bit late but I went to the Hard Time gig @ MoS on Sat too. Really enjoyed it ! Tony Humphries was great, maybe bordering on the more commercial ‘defected’ type house at times but would then get quite deep and hypnotic. Abstract Truth’s ‘we had a thing’ got played at the end which was always a massive tune for me in the late 90s. The main event for me was the Claussell and Ron Trent pairing. Absolutely loved it - they went quite deep and very trippy / almost tribal at time. And I know its marmite but I do love Joe’s EQ / isolator work - he can turn an average house track into an absolute monster. I also really liked the main room - DJ booth much closer to the crowd and has always been a great space. Only thing is that I’m sure the sound has actually got worse than I remembered - just too much bass that overpowers all the other frequencies. But still v fun and enjoyable 🙂 ---
