Had a spate of staying in the hotel overlooking Piccadilly gardens. Having breakfast and explaining why humans were in suspended animation to my son at half seven in the morning was interesting.
First time for me hearing some of the PC&L tracks performed live - great post. Loved the youtube comment âŚâNew Order back in the day were always an utter shambles live⌠it was almost as if theyâd never practiced half of this stuff⌠but regardless of their technical deficiencies (Stephen Morris excepted) - there was still something charmingly disarming about the way they managed to fumble their way through a live set.â
Remember watching this when it first came out as Iâd seen it advertised on one of the many afternoons I had spent in Outlaws on my occasional jaunts over to Leeds.
How could anyone not love this fella?
Itâs a brilliant interview that. His comments about Super 8 film and High Definition and its impact on your imagination is so spot on (last part).
As much as I dislike the way some people worship AW and that sonically I am not particularly a fan of his DJ sets(cowers in corner for protection), the man is refreshing, interesting and a kindred spirit. People like this are the best things in my life.
The Shamen banging out Ebeneezer Good at half time of an Arsenal match at Highbury 1992 - Live on Sky Sports Monday night football
WTF!
Random!
Iâm sure there were a few Eezer Geezers in the stands too
Defo random. Iâm sure there were a few Eezer geezers in the Arsenal team as well in 92
My first ever Chair experience was the night that Kelvin Andrews went all deep goth of the disco vibe and nearly tore the roof off. I remember turning around to all of the people who had met either on the forum or at Last Rites at Font and thinking âit doesnât get any better than thisâ. There was magic in those walls.
I assumed it was from a film soundtrack!
Thatâs more like it. Enough of the balearicy bollocks
Ha ha!
