“Hang out with Sade while Flavor Flav plays Piano”
Oh FFS!
Here’s my latest Youtube cooking channel find:
Chef Wang - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCg0m_Ah8P_MQbnn77-vYnYw (Szechuan style cooking) - his recent episode on how to cool 6 different dishes with one crocodile was a particular classic!
Geoff Lawton is my permaculture hero - https://www.youtube.com/c/GeoffLawtonOnline, anyone with an interest in gardening, veggies or allotments will learn a ton from this.
I’ve recommended this before but if you want a really well explained channel on pretty much every aspect of serious hi-fi then this is your channel - https://www.youtube.com/c/PSAudiochannel

So good. Love Sophie Barkers vocals
Love Destiny so much and was chuffed walking into town a few weeks ago and passing a busker who was doing a version of Destiny, she fucking butchered it! I have happily put a quid in her hat if she did a decent version, but it was awful
to be fair, it’s not an easy song to sing - the choruses generally hold their notes, but the verses are so wavery. if you’re imitating them, it’s easy to sound straight up drunk.
As heard on a Marrakech taxi radio and identified via the lyrics… Think this slice of 80s pop fromage has its roots in Schlager.
new KGLW
Great film, thanks for the tip!
Stumbled on it randomly but enjoyed it as well despite not being a skater, the guy’s lived a life.
Yeah i’m not a skater either tbh i’m not fascinated by skateboard culture at all. I thought it was a very warm, loving and honest picture of what addiction does to people. So many people seems to care about him and really wants to support him but it doesn’t matter, addiction really is a decease.
You’ve summed it up perfectly, i’ve had family members with similar addictions, no longer with us, so i know how frustrating & sad it can be.
He’s lucky to still be alive.
This came up in my feed today and really got me interested. The French Antilles dontchaknow.

Gilles Peterson chatting about records that changed his life for the Loop. Him and Thomas Meincke having a proper natter about all sorts of music.
