Just got a vinyl reissue - bloody fantastic record from 2015. Only 300 copies though, so i’ll miss out no doubt.

Starting at 80 euro on discogs, what’s the point? Should probably write this in the what don’t you get thread but i’ve seen the same with a few other new records lately. Nice tune that i’d missed but nowhere near 80+ euro nice. And will these records hold their current value? Nobody knows but from my perspective i doubt it. If this continues i feel like the whole vinyl market will implode.

I fly a lot for work and this time of year is particularly rough especially when going from somewhere warm like Florida to somewhere cold like Massachusetts as you inevitably hit a storm. Had the oxygen masks drop a few times, and on the most recent attempt we dropped 5000 feet in 2 minutes to avoid a pressure system that the pilot said “could’ve knocked us out of the sky”. So, yeah, I can’t watch those either as I am rapidly developing a fear of flying.

I came home directly in to a storm for the roughest landing I’ve experienced in a decade or so. Really unsettling and made me eager to stay on the ground for a long while.

Had a few hairy flights over the years and would say to myself I’m going to stay on the ground from now on… Lol A friend came to New York with us, it was his first time flying kept saying to me how the f#*k is this staying in the air and every time seat belt sign went on or off he would ask the what was going on… People around him asked to be moved because he was freaking them out… They moved him to first class in the end 
during the flight he came down the Isle wearing those fluffy socks they give you and a sign around his neck saying Please wake for all meals…

Every couple of years you just gotta have THAT flight. I’ve been on a plane with landing gear that wouldn’t extend, a flight that was grounded in Oklahoma so that a meth head could be arrested by Air Marshals for refusing to keep his little dog in a carrier, one where the passengers had to help the crew restrain a dude who lost his marbles screaming about 9/11. Every time I say I’m not getting back on but I always do

I love a bumpy flight to be honest. Turbulence is just bumps in the road, ain’t never brought a flight down alone.
When I was on the rigs and survey vessels I always slept the best when the installation was doing an impression of Space Mountain in awful weather
