Enjoyed Bait on Prime Video
Riz Ahmed is one of our national acting treasures and he’s created something here akin to a British satirical version of The Studio mixed with the modern South Asian experience in multi cultural London. It doesn’t all land, but there’s some great in-jokes and episode 4 is a standout as Shah and his love interest go on a slo mo rickshaw chase through Brick Lane.
I’ve been loving it. Guz Khan always good value too. Love all the mum / auntie business.
Recently rewatched ‘The Night Of…’. He’s superb in that too. A versatile actor.
The Night Of was so good. I never really rewatch tv shows, but that was short enough and good enough i feel like i could.
Watched the Michael Jackson doc on the BBC. Probably little that hasn’t been gone over many times before, but well put together and seemingly balanced views from both sides. No excuses for him, but ultimately just a horrible and tragic life.
