A House of Dynamite on Netflix. V good if not a little alarming before bed.
Coming from an Australian:
Aussies are very cocky. Not one of our finer points, but it is a common thread ![]()
Good doc on Netflix about whether one of the most famous photographs in history was deliberately stolen from the guy who actually took it.
Also read comments about how “slow” it is. Maybe it’s the way my head’s wired but I’ve not cared about the tempo of the series once since it started. I’m enjoying watch the story unfold and that’s an increasingly rare experience in films and TV now.
I’ve been knocked down with a flu
and I can’t remember ever having The flu before even when I thought I had it and my Mrs saying it not flu all you have is a cold and she was right… But this is Flu as loads in work and around our area have it… I’ve been in the spare room all weekend
find myself watching food delivery guys on YouTube… surprisingly very relaxing and interesting…
It’s doing the rounds in Manchesterford too. Hope you feel better soon x
Thanks I’ve had a few hot whisky and couple of D10s so that was nice while in bed for few days…
I’ve had the same flu. I found a programme called Moonshiners - Master Distillers. Three people compete to make moonshine. Weirdly suiting the mood. ![]()
People forget how slow Better Call Saul was at parts.
Pluribus has that characteristic technique of slowly following a mysterious process, while we, the audience wonder what is occuring. Better call saul did it well too.
Watching the current season of Pokerface and Pluribus, Vince Gilligan’s new show. Pokerface is terrific as usual, Pluribus is…a lot. Super intriguing premise, but I can’t tell where he’s going with the idea yet.
Starting the new P Divvy doc on netflix before his lawyers get it removed.
“I might not ever get old”
David Byrne as full of joy as ever.
Watched it all today. It’s pretty grim. And why do a diss track when you can make a four part Netflix series…
Started Mr Mercedes recently. Hadn’t heard of it before. Looks promising but didn’t realise it was 3 seasons. Anyone seen it? Was wondering if it is worth the investment.
Same, binged it all last night. I never kept up with all his dramas over the years because I was never a fan from the get go, always felt something was off about him, so one thing that stood out was that right from the very start there was bad vibes/energy all around this man, along the way so many people ended up dead, in prison, broke, beat up, threatened and just left worse off during his rise to power.
Even by music industry standards an absolute soulless shell of a human being.
My wife just blitzed all 3 seasons and really enjoyed it. But then she loves Steven King.
From what I saw of it the 1st (which is based on an actual book) seemed ok but the 2nd two got a bit silly.
I got the impression that it might get a bit daft but will persevere with the second episode for now.
Tried to watch ‘All Her Fault’ and switched off toward the end of the first episode. Was terrible.
For some reason my smart tv has begun to show b2b episodes of Monkey as it’s default channel. I’m finding it difficult to move on. Might convert to Buddhism at this rate.
also, he’s totally untalented.
I mean that female juror… Wtf??? Well the male one wasn’t any better to be fair…
