What are you watching?

Just finished the first 3 episodes of Andor. Anyone for a Chanrillian House banger?

Race Across The World is back. This time they are going from the Great Wall of China to the Southern tip of India

Somebody definitely spiked the punch and I’m all here for it.

Tribe with Bruce Parry is good eh?!

Look forward to RATW

Watched the first episode last night, China looks hard to navigate, not many people speaking English even in the big cities. Think those taking the more rural routes will struggle a bit.

Fair play to the Welsh couple trying the authentic food, I couldn’t have done that.

Hard to disagree. Great performance from Paul G.

this looks intersting / infuriating. not sure whether it’s worth watching an hour of violent racist psychopaths, but I’m glad it’s getting some exposure.

I watched the old one with my youngest son the other night, randomly. A great bit of reporting with Louis bringing the old raised eyebrow to some awful situations and people.
Intolerance is so bloody depressing.

I recommend the film, No Other Land, on this subject.

100% it’s a really good film, gives a much better context and shows it’s not just the fringes of Israeli society that are extreme, but the whole state apparatus.

Unfortunately, the extremes on both sides are the ones in power and have no interest in any kind of solution. Likud and Hamas are two cheeks of the same arse. I struggle to see any path forward, especially with so much vested interest in keeping the status quo.

I’m about half way through Snatch on Netflix, nothing too taxing but reasonably good fun

This Is War on Amazon Prime. A US Marine took a video camera to Iraq in 2003. Amazing footage. Great watch, if you like that kind of thing.

Ash directed by Flying Lotus. A moderately diverting hour and a half on Prime. Weirdly the music is one of the least interesting things about it . Leans into its low-budget effects nicely but falls some way short of being the cult head trip it wants to be.

Incredibly wooden dialogue (intentionally?) but Eiza González. Swings and roundabouts.

Finally managed to watch Conclave. Very good and topped off by my Dad doing a massive fart almost perfectly in sync with the windows being blown out of the Sistine Chapel :joy: Is farting a side effect of dementia?

Hope not. I’ve got no chance if it is :joy:

I watched both series a little while ago.
It’s alright isn’t it, although I thought Harry Potter fella was a bit shite.

2hrs from both days of KCC at the 1995 carnival.
I was there most of both days as we used this system for our parties.
Spot the DJs. Fantastic scenes!

The Studio on Apple Tv is really good.
Similar to The Franchise but from a different angle, with a seemingly bottomless budget purse and the best address book in Hollywood.
Some of the locations as well. It’s really great.
