We watched Blitz over the weekend and I was a bit underwhelmed. I’d agree with 6/10. It’s a touching story but felt quite traditional. I love Steve McQueen was hoping for something more distinctive. I thought the use of CGI seemed quite clunky too.

I know exactly what you mean. Some brilliant scenes but overall just a bit flat somehow.
And some atrocious dialogue.
Really hard to believe it was made by a guy who won the Turner Prize, the Oscar, Palme D’Or, BAFTAs coming out of his ears etc.

Just started this on Netflix knowing nothing about it really, so far so good and the animation is gorgeous.
My daughter is absolutely in love with Arcane. The animation is great, haven’t paid much attention to the plot

Well Charlotte was fucking robbed frankly. Played a blinder, deserved a win.

The Guardian review is quite amusing. Calling them all out for serial ‘Yourself’ abuse, which seems to be endemic on TV shows these days

Definitely going to be a celeb Traitors, been confirmed for a while now. Perhaps one for the “What don’t I get?” thread but it really annoys me that any decent game show format gets celeb treatment and, in some cases, becomes just a celeb vehicle. Much rather watch ‘civilians’ play and win in any format.
As for Leanne, I was surprised she went with Jake after Frankie’s impassioned mother to mother plea. Really thought they’d recognised in each other two faithfuls who could banish all the rest and share the money
