Finished fallout. Good fun tv. Started strong and thought the last few episodes couldve been better. Tried to cram in too much.
Not sure what to do with my Tuesday evenings now Shogun has finished.
Yeah me too, was really great. Been rewatching The Bear…
I’m tempted to go back and do Shogun again. So much detail and nuance. I feel I missed some of the impact having to watch one episode a week.
It was amazing! Beautiful curated soundtrack as well.
Reminded me quite a lot of working in the basement at IBM South Bank in the 90s.
Have we had Baby Reindeer yet? I can’t recall if I posted it earlier or not. Based on a true story that happened to the guy that wrote it and plays himself as the main character. It’s a wild ride!
Edit to say, I remember someone did post it, that’s why I started it
Ronnie v Bingham
What a game !!!
Watching it too. Amazing stuff
Ronnie telling the ref to chill should make few headlines… I do like Bingham to be fair, he seems a good bloke…
Yes @Balearic_Clapton I’m sure posted

Yes! God my memory is shit
Pompeii: The New Dig on iPlayer. Fantastic
I was there in June last year. It’s truly fascinating. My main takeaway was that directions to the local whore house were penises carved into the stone pavements, pointing the way. Naturally, I called in for a nightcap.
Hilariously the day before, I’d got chatting to an English couple. Told them I was visiting Pompeii.
“Don’t bother mate. Load of old ruins!” without the slightest hint of sarcasm
Friend of mine used to be a tour guide at Auschwitz, was telling me how often people asked if there was a souvenir shop. ‘Er, no but there is a book shop’ -Once got asked if they did shot glasses.
The Leftfield post I made in the Chill Out thread triggered a memory of this. Does anyone remember this from 1995? A fairly accurate dipiction of going out raving during that period. Most of the actors went on to do very well indeed as well
