What are you watching?

(although I’ll prob end up looking more like this guy)

IIRC this was the guy who made incredible bespoke log cabins

Everyone’s a winner! He comes across as decent bloke, obviously could be a complete c@nt in real life.

My neighbour took Mr Fogle out on a boat filming for a TV programme this summer. A nice chap apparently. A series called Sacred Isles.

Just seen the Power, Corruption and Lies doc you kindly flagged, really enjoyed it and recommend. Proper down to earth bunch. I used to think there was a real mystique to the band as Bernard alluded to - although that seems to have developed more from them shunning lots of promo and the trappings of fame and fortune then air of mystery filled the vacuum.

Martin Hannett seemed like a piece of work.

Yeah I really enjoyed it as well, what stuck out to me was Bernard learning, and really struggling at first, to become a singer, songwriter & front man on the job and in the spotlight.
As for Hannett, eccentric to say the least lol.

Really a shame - love a bit of Fincher but I think we’ll pass. Top Fincher for me:

  1. Zodiac
  2. The Social Network (totally underrated IMHO)
  3. Se7en
  4. Fight Club
  5. The Game
  6. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Honorable mention: “Vogue”

Did some architectural work for him and his wife years ago. They were both very pleasant, straight up people.

We watched a bit of that
Did you see the South Pole one, where they followed the same route as Scott, wearing the same clothes, eating the same food etc?

I bet he single-handedly keeps Channel 5 going

About to press play on this. Scenes!

New Fargo season off to a terrific start.

I’ve enjoyed every season, but this one feels like something of a return to form, very Coen Bros in its overall vibe and presentation.

Really strong cast, too. Juno delivers, as she so often does. Hard to imagine anyone else in the role of someone so unassuming, yet quick-witted and intuitive.
