This is correct answer. Dodgy firestick with IPTV loaded on it usually gets you any sporting event you want, or any other channel for that matter. So i’ve heard too. ---

New Adam Curtis landing next month. Ian Curtis, Trevor Horn and fat-shaming ventriloquists. Should be good. [![](https://img.youtube.com/vi/AQc8625Y03g/maxresdefault.jpg "SHIFTY – A brand new Adam Curtis series - BBC") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQc8625Y03g) ---

Love a bit of Adam Curtis, he has his critics and I get why but his stuff puts me in a kind of dreamstate, totally immersed. ---

Watching the new Netflix doc on the hunt for Bin Laden. Dreadful so far. Skirted over the invasion of Iraq completely. Failed to acknowledge the comprehensive failings of the security services to prevent 9/11 The arrogance of the CIA operatives makes it very unpleasant viewing. Lots of bragging about ‘flies crawling on eyeballs’ and macho bollocks from the comfort of their Washington desks. Had to turn it off ---

I thought Andor stuck the landing beautifully. Given its ending was kind of already known, it was bitter sweet and poignant while managing to duck the pitfalls prequels usually fall into, and gave its characters meaningful and satisfying endings for the most part. SW is usually very black and white, good vs bad but this has been wonderfully nuanced and complex. Without its Star Wars / Disney attachments, I think it could (should?) rightly sit in the upper echelons of prestige dramas alongside some of the greats of the last few years. ---

Three episodes into the eternaut on netflix while I wait for my weekly TLoU fix - similar apocalyptic vibes, Argentinean show set in Buenos Aires where a mysterious overnight snowfall starts to kill people - premise a bit like TLoU, science fiction, and probably an allegory for the military junta take over. Much better than I’m making it sound. ---
