I think it’s awful. No soul, funk or groove in the machines. I loved Vacuum Boogie and his early stuff, I’ve heard great DJ sets by him, liked the Promises album. But when he makes techno it really turns me off.

Completely agree. Not liking his sound on this album.
It’s all gone a bit EDM. Almost gabba in places.

It’s produced really well very dynamic. Drums left me a bit cold. Some of the synth and bassline stuff is good, but it’s very Barker/Jon Hopkins lite.
I still think Lone excels at this kind of thing.

The track that had the cool kids pulling out their hair for months early in the year played by Ame ,Dixon,Mano and others… It is pretty good and I’m sure hearing it at 4 am in some melodic forest would be great… Ame (feat Curses) shadow of love.
