A couple of Magic wands are already a bit pricey, Vol. 8 especially, nice stuff though.

Visually I wanted to play with the chaos of jazz fashion in the 70âs/80âs: bands like Weather Report, and Miles Davisâ constantly rotating cast. Musicians dressed themselves with a strong sense of individuality while still achieving a cohesive look, a theme I also look to achieve musically on the album Septet.â

i wasnât a big rider on what was then kind of all lumped together as the âbroken beat bandwagonâ but for whatever reason, this sounds terrific this season. just ordered the vinyl. gotta have it.
this album has been a FAVE of late. canât wait to hear more from these guys.
