a bit of summery disco house fun from Italy

not overly familiar with Pizzico Records but need to hear more

Just in Tesco and they’re belting out this. Made me skip down the aisles

“Nosey Joe Version”” T9 of Niney & The Observers compilation, Tubby’s Want The Channel. Nice comp on 1 1/2 listens. I’m thinking genuine Tubby.

Just been reminded by social media that this actually exists

Giving an old favourite a play this morning. Forgotten how good this compilation is.

Yes! Starring Mick Karn on bass
and lots of the Roland CR78
it’s a bit like a lost Japan album imo
and forget John Bush’s opinion, I’d give it 4 stars… for me it’s a timeless work of art

My thoughts exactly. I love me anything that any Japan members have had a hand in. Especially fond of all those Japanese pop albums Karn and Sylvian were involved in.

Tell me more please, love Japan, Sylvian and all of the associated working groups, but they were curated on so many things it’s hard to keep track

It’s well worth checking the solo members Discogs pages and then refining the searches by credits. They’ve been involved in so many releases it’s almost never ending.

Absolute classic. One of many from Scratch. I probably listen to more LSP than any other fount of musical excess and brilliance.

Coincidental… the new Music From Memory is very Japanesque in places.
