spent my summer with the Fantastic Man b2b Tornado Wallace 3h set at Sonder pretty much on loop, and now we’re blessed with this new one from Alex Kassian. Aaliyah - Rock The Boat remix played in both sets, so so good hope we’ll have an id on it soon !

A couple of belters that got me through a pretty rough flight from Edinburgh to Kirkwall. One of the worst landings I’ve experienced - fast and hard through thick mist followed by bouncing that had my arse cutting diamonds.

Earlier on today my gf was driving and (unexpectedly!) asked me to put on something banging, which was a challenge when most of the stuff on my pen drive is ahem anything but . Then I came across this Boiler Room in LA I ripped off YouTube ages ago. I was struck by the relentless acid energy which never lets up and then recalled some of the sweaty Pierre gigs I went to in London and Brighton. A bit weird revisiting those nights in the cold light of day (she enjoyed!) Are there younger DJs that still play like this? Or does this craft die out with the old guard?
