Incredible really isnāt it? His approach to sampling at the time was mind blowing. Stitching pieces of obscure records together to make completely new compositions. Even more awe inspiring when you get to hear the actual songs the samples originated from, and how many of them were used for each Shadow song.
Changeling utilises 9 samples alone.

I wanted to say El Condor Pasa but couldnāt believe heād get away with sampling Simon and Garfunkel. Looked it up and it turned out to be the original by The Incas. So (nearly) 1 out of 7 :-/

Theyāre new to me, been listening to some of their releases this evening on their BC page, lot of stuff in a similar vein, shoegazy/dreampop/cocteausish, a Sade cover, a Saint Etienne remix, this is my fave still though.
