There was some great house (especially deep) coming out of Glasgow then. This was a big favourite of Paul’s for me
And the Hunter brother, Michael & Paul, released some classics. This got played to death when it came out. Even some great dubby goodness from Keith McIvor 
I remember being blown away by fellow Weegies making brilliant jazzy, dubby, disco, influenced house. And high quality
Michael Hunter’s Butch Cassidy Sound System was another seminal one for me - still sounds fresh to my ears, and listen to it often.

Had Spectrum playing whilst driving round Orkney, in the dark ,visiting my service users. Our work van is a shit Ford in terms of driving (especially round corners) and can’t handle any adverse weather, but… the stereo is a delight for a car/van standard - the bass is especially good, and tight. Much more important than safety imo.
This one was sounding heavenly.

Best thing I’ve come across in 2025, by far. With rarely buying albums these days, it takes something special to buy the record. Beautiful.

Sen played this on one of his shows recently. Amazing, transcendent stuff. On a first listening I thought it might be a middle-eastern/South Asian vocalist but they’re Aboriginal.
