Although this Carl Craig remix was huge, I’ve got a soft spot for Theo’s jazzier original version. ---

I think the first Theo record I bought might still be one of my favourites [![](https://img.youtube.com/vi/7Wr-UYyOv6U/hqdefault.jpg "Theo Parrish -Lost Keys") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Wr-UYyOv6U&t=1s) Do you think it inspired this other (killer) track? That sample is in there too but this is more 1 to 1. Both records came from '92 I think https://www.youtube.com/embed/Azb7IkjOBwc?feature=oembed&wmode=opaque&start=52 ---

I had these too including a few others (When I Snapped, Contemporhythms etc). Thankfully I ripped them as soon as I bought them. After a while the original CDr’s started to corrode and flake away rendering them mostly unplayable 😟. ---

Thanks very much. It’s lovely to hear when old mixes are still getting a play somewhere. ---

played KDJ Music People on the weekend, the youth were loving it, 2 ID requests (because phones completely banned in club, but that’s another type of awesome) still badass:clap:t4:👏🏽 ---

As producers Moodymann gets my vote. Although if you were to rank all of his productions very few from the last 15/20years would be near the top. Mainly because of how good his 90s / early 00s stuff was. When Theo gets it right he is ace, but I find he can be a bit self indulgent at times. ---

Been debating whether to sell my extensive Moodymann vinyl collection - can’t say I’ve played them much in the past 10 years. Feels scary to let them go though haha ---

I’ve got stacks of records I’ve not played for 20 years (or more). Theyre just on the back burner waiting to be pulled out. Here’s one I played last night that’s not been off the shelf this century. Played it twice and will do again today! https://www.youtube.com/embed/4ELDxwd5pVg?feature=oembed&wmode=opaque ---
